Top California plaintiffs' law firm is leading a class action against the International Musicians League for violations of the Talent Agency Act
Firm's clients contend the following:
International Musicians League (IML) has been acting as an unregistered talent agency in the State of California by taking advantage of the "gig" economy to scam musicians using its digital platform out of their fair share of earnings.
IML poses as the LUCKY DEVILS BAND while acting as a middle-man between musicians and persons looking for live bands and performing the duties of a talent agency.
IML retains over 50% of the money charged for each gig and retains its own financial records that are not shared with the musicians whose services it provides.
If you or someone you know has been affected by IML's conduct, we want to hear about it.
If you have been affected by any of these issues, if you have information that you think may be helpful, or if you just wish to find out more about your legal rights, please contact Phillips, Erlewine, Given & Carlin LLP.
